Mechanical
Tilstone Mechanical
We can undertake designs, design reviews, and support our clients in understanding the vast array of mechanical systems and which one is best for their project. We can also provide welding inspection support and certification
Every Mechanical system that is under pressure should be pressure tested against the Designer’s requirements. Our team have been trained against Bureau Veritas, a respected Third-Party Insurance Inspector’s standard and can ensure that the right test is undertaken safely in respect to the Pressure System Safety Regulations (PSSR 2000) and good practice.
Petroleum systems (commercial)
If you have commercial diesel, petrol or other fuel-based systems, then you should be looking to control these via a SSOW process (generators, boilers, fuel holding tanks etc), then we can provide guidance on your general policy and governance processes and depending on the system, Authorised Persons to support the works too. NB. As a rule, entry into a fuel tank does not fall under the Confined Space training as the Hazards and control measures are different and you should look to use a specialist to control these High Risk works.
Thermographic Surveying
For Mechanical Systems, these show a twin pump set with one pump running hot and a hydraulic system showing the hydraulic oil potentially overheating.
